from the collectors, to POAP
Dear POAP,
Somewhere between 2019 and today, you quietly changed what it means to say “I was there.”
You turned conference badges into keepsakes. Devcon halls, hackathon all-nighters, DAO calls at 2am, bear-market meetups where six people showed up — you treated every one of those moments like it deserved to be remembered forever. A POAP was never about the artwork or a floor price. It was proof that we showed up, together.
Millions of collectibles minted across hundreds of communities. Collaborations with world-class organizations and with two-person community calls alike — and you gave them the same care. That was the magic: every moment mattered equally.
Thank you to everyone who built POAP, kept it running for more than five years, and let the rest of us fill our wallets with memories instead of speculation. The chain doesn’t forget — every drop is still out there, every memory still minted.
